Scientific Name: Pseudacris crucifer
 Description: Spring peepers usually grow to be less than an inch long and have brown or grayish skin. Their bellies are white and they have a dark cross on their backs.
Habitat: The spring peeper is found all though the eastern U.S. and southern Canada. It likes to live in marshy woods or in ponds or swamps .
Food: The spring peeper eats all sorts of insects like ants, flies, spiders, and beetles.
