What is Mitosis?
Mitosis is the reproduction of one parent cell into two identical cells called daughter cells. During this process the cell undergoes stages of reproduction. These stages include: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokenisis. Interphase is a stage in the cell cycle even though it is not a stage in mitosis. Click on the headings.
